Christine M. Fairchild has worked as a writer/editor junky for nearly 30 years for publications (XFiles, SciFiMall.com), technical giants (Microsoft, AT&T), and consumer product companies (DHL, Hitachi). She teaches writing/editing at conferences, studies with law enforcement to hone her characters and plots, and rehabs dogs on the side.
Known as the "book doctor" she teaches writing and editing classes to authors and editors. She is a regular guest lecturer at Univ. Washington, Seattle, and speaks at writer conferences. She's published two books to help authors improve their craft, The Editor Devil's Guide to Characters and The Editor Devil's Guide to Dialogue, as well as a contemporary Romantic Suspense series set in New York, An Eye for Danger.
